Hello. My name is Keith and this is my wife Susan. We originally met on the Internet towards the end of the Winter of 2001. Wow, you might ask, “Does it really work out?” Of course it does. Susan had responded to a Yahoo! chat profile that I had. The first thing that got her attention was my stated interest in ice hockey. I follow it religiously and it turned out that she does too. We sent e-mails back and forth as well as chatting with messenger. I loved her sense of humor and found that we had quite a bit in common. We eventually agreed to meet at a Dallas Stars hockey game and it took off from there. She became my best friend here in Dallas. We are now happily married since September of 2003. The wedding was different than your run-of-the-mill wedding. We actually planned the honeymoon first. After booking a cruise up in the Inside Passage of Alaska, we decided that we should probably plan our wedding too. We found a minister in Juneau, Alaska that performed weddings on the Mendenhall Glacier. We decided, while on our stop in the port in Juneau, that we would take a helicopter up to the glacier and get married there. It was a private ceremony between my wife and I, the pilot, the minister and her assistant. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful wedding. Of course, it was our wedding. Both Susan & Keith work in Dallas. Susan works for a retail department store and Keith works for a business outsourcing company as a Web developer. Susan was born in Arkansas and has lived throughout the South much of her life. Keith was born in California and moved to Texas in the summer of 2000. Update — June 24th, 2004 |
